Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, create person-centered treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy for clients with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Continually assess client situations to deliver ongoing treatments, prepare discharge summaries, and perform all other assigned clinical tasks. Requires a Pennsylvania license, two years of direct-care experience, and ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bi-lingual Spanish and English is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- Must be familiar or willing to be trained on EMR systems
- Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses
- 2-Step PPD
- PA State Background Check
- ChildLine Abuse Clearance
- FBI Background Check
- Mandated reporter certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
