Job Summary
Deliver in-home clinical services to birth and kinship families at risk of placement disruption, utilizing parent coaching and evidence-based interventions focused on integrating skills into daily family life. Contribute to Family Service Plan development, monitor client progress toward individualized objectives, and complete required documentation for case consultations and service delivery. Attend treatment team, IEP, and Child and Family Team meetings to advocate for clients' mental health needs. Provide up to five hours of weekly counseling and skill-building for families over a 12-week period with intentionally low caseloads. Requires ACSW/AMFT or LCSW/LMFT licensure, bilingual English/Spanish preference, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- California licensure as an Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), in good standing and registration with the BBS
- Valid CA Driver License with a minimum of three (3) years good driving history
- Willingness and ability to make frequent field visits, attend meetings, conferences and other job related events away from headquarters
- Ability to drive agency vehicles with personal vehicle approval from the agency's automobile insurance carrier
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual: (English/Spanish)
- A minimum of two years of experience working with high-risk children, adolescents, adults and/or families within the Mental Health, Educational, Child Welfare and/or Juvenile Probation systems
- Experience working with kinship—knowledge of the child welfare system
