Clinical Therapist PHP-Adolescent Full Time

Job Summary
Conduct assessment, counseling, and treatment for adolescents while providing referrals and advocacy services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members through meetings and record reviews to monitor patient progress. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of progress notes and medical records. Coordinate community resources and provide consultation to external professionals as needed. Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and education programs for patients and families. Maintain Michigan licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements. Support crisis situations, implement safety precautions, and provide supervision to interns.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure in an accredited Master's level program in Social Work, limited license Psychologist or Professional Counseling
- Obtain and maintain in good standing certification commiserate with treatment provided
- Trained to work in the age group of the patient being served with annual continuing age specific education and demonstrated competence
- One to two years of postgraduate clinical experience
- Maintain all Michigan licensure requirements
- Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training
- Must be able to visit a person served at their home
- Must be available to work weekends and or evenings
- Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must pass a drug screen prior to employment
- Must complete education verification which may include sending a copy of your high school diploma, GED, or college transcripts

- Membership and involvement in local, state, and national professional organizations is encouraged
- May conduct research
- Support and promote a recovery focused environment and person-centered approach within the program
- Provide consistent leadership during crisis situations
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to assist with clinical care of all residents
