Clinical Therapist - MH/SUD

Job Summary
Provide evidence-based clinical services for a caseload of youth, teenagers, and adults requiring mental health and substance use treatment through weekly individual, group, or family sessions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while maintaining updated client records in the electronic health record. Assist clients and families in crisis resolution and de-escalation by developing appropriate crisis plans. Consult with collateral treatment team members and network to build relationships that aid treatment support and maintain referral pathways. Help individuals and families negotiate access to community services and resources, providing case coordination and connecting clients with support networks. Complete all documentation within 24-48 hours to meet regulatory standards and program goals. Participate in assigned meetings, events, and learning initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Art Therapy or similar
- LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, APSW, or ATR-P
- Minimum 2 years substance use counseling/treatment experience
- Willingness to work full time
- Willingness and ability to provide clinical supervision for MH/SUD
- Able to meet weekly/monthly/yearly accessibility/performance metrics
- Knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, mental health, and co-occurring disorder treatment
- Proficient in the usage of computer software; demonstrate an understanding of computer file systems and computer software packages, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP, etc.
- Must be honest, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background checks
- A valid Wisconsin Driver's License or occupational driver's license
- reliable transportation and insurance
Desired Qualifications
- LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or ATR
- WI DSPS CSAC Certification
- 5 years post masters experience providing individual, group, substance abuse counseling and family therapy to adolescents and adults
