Job Summary
Provide psychosocial evaluations, psychotherapeutic interventions, case management, and discharge planning services for patients and families. Act as a liaison between the hospital, community agencies, and facilities while performing intake assessments to create treatment plans. Deliver individual, marital, parental, family, and group therapies, assist patients in setting goals, and facilitate social skills development. Interpret illness and treatment courses to patients, communicate family issues to staff, and assist with employment and vocational rehabilitation. Serve as a Designated Examiner for probate court testimony. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field, two years of post-graduate behavioral health experience, and licensure as an LMSW, LISW, LPC, or LMFT. Day shift at Marshall I. Pickens Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, Psychology or related field of study
- Two (2) years post-graduate behavioral health/counseling experience
- Licensed Master Social Worker LMSW
- Licensed Social Worker CP LISW-CP
- Licensed Social Worker LISW-AP
- Licensed Professional Counselor LPC or LPCA
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT
- Assessment skills
- Discharge planning skills
- Computer skills
- Day shift availability
