Job Summary
Clinical Therapist provides face-to-face diagnostic assessments and individual/group/family psychotherapy, with case management support across office, community, schools, facilities, and private homes. Responsibilities include DSM-5-based assessments for adults, teens, and children; delivering psychotherapy; maintaining current clinical records; managing caseloads to meet productivity goals; utilizing community resources for client support (sobriety, housing, financial aid, medical care, safety); entering documentation into the EHR per policy; and ensuring professional, ethical conduct aligned with the agencys mission. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field, active Ohio license (LSW/LISW/LISW-S/LPC/LPCC-S/PC/PCC/PCC-S), 2+ years in behavioral health or SUD settings, CPR/First Aid and de-escalation certification, and a valid drivers license with willingness to use a personal vehicle. Proficiency in clinical modalities, documentation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in counseling, social or related behavioral health field
- Active license to practice as a Social Worker/Counselor in Ohio (LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC-S, PC, PCC, or PCC-S)
- Two years or more experience working with the behavioral health or Substance Use Disorder patient population
- Knowledge of multiple clinical modalities, theory and principles of human behavior, social work theory and practice
- Must be certified within 90 days of starting the position on First Aid, CPR, and De-escalation Training
- Must maintain a current and valid Ohio or Michigan drivers license, a good driving record, adequate insurance and be willing to use personal car to perform job duties
- Computer skills including Excel capabilities with ability to create reports
- Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity, judgement, and professionalism
- Must be analytical and solutions-oriented
- Ability to work well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Must have current CPR certification
- Active Ohio Medicaid number
