Clinical Therapist (LPC or LISW)

Job Summary
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), you will provide neurobehavioral health services to elderly residents in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing condition-specific support therapy, and coordinating care with the facility, primary care physician, and families. The role requires effective teamwork within an interdisciplinary treatment team, strong time management skills, and the ability to operate autonomously. A Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work and an active LPC or LISW license are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Good time management skills
- Able to function autonomously with regional Area Manager support
- Master’s degree in Counseling or in Social Work
- Currently licensed as an LPC or LISW in the state in which you are applying
Desired Qualifications
- Passion for geriatrics
- Experience in inpatient settings such as extended care facilities
- Experience with brief bedside assessment screens (cognitive, mood, etc.)
- Motivated by productivity-based positions
- Ability to navigate and document on an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
