Job Summary
As a Full-Time Clinical Therapist at Canopy Pines Recovery in Tallahassee, FL, provide direct, onsite individual therapy, conduct initial assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with regular documentation, case reviews, and participation in weekly staff meetings. Apply evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care), collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support clients through crisis situations to foster healthier futures in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)
- Master's degree in social work or related field
- Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
- Proficiency in evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care)
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
