Job Summary
Harbor is seeking a Clinical Therapist I to provide counseling services for clients of all ages while maintaining clinical responsibility for individual, family, and group therapy. Responsibilities include providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and telehealth services. The therapist will manage a case load and complete clinical documentation in compliance with Harbor policies. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field and an Ohio license to practice. Preferential qualifications include experience with substance use disorders and developmental issues in clients.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related Behavioral/Mental health field from an accredited college or university
- License to practice as a Social Worker/Counselor in Ohio (LSW, LPC)
- Clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in computer use
- Good documentation, treatment, and assessment skills
Desired Qualifications
- Licensure in chemical dependency or proven experience and training in treating substance use disorders
- Experience working with adults/children with developmental delays
- Health Officer certification
