Job Summary
Provide individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseloads, including clients with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. Complete documented evidence-based treatment plans after initial encounters and maintain progress notes toward therapy goals. Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner, identifying interventions and accessing community resources to support clients in crisis. Serve as a liaison to coordinate referrals, arrange community support, and advocate for clients during treatment conferences. Maintain accurate clinical, legal, and financial documentation within agency guidelines and attend regular supervision. Maintain all required licenses and demonstrate flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet client demands.
Required Qualifications
- LSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- related educational requirement
- Bachelor's degree from accredited program or higher
- TWO (2) years experience working with adults, youth and families
- Knowledge of human behavior and performance
