Job Summary
Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups as part of an integrated behavioral health program. Conduct 10-12 sessions to assess needs, explore issues, and build trust while modifying treatment plans based on measurable goals. Collaborate with medical professionals to evaluate physical conditions, advocate for clients during crises, and resolve environmental impediments to progress. Maintain accurate case records, produce encounter forms, and participate in team meetings and case staffing discussions. Liaise with external social services agencies to ensure comprehensive care. May travel to other AccessHealth sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Must possess a valid LCSW, LPC or LMFT
- Experience in behavioral health
- High ethical standards
- Well-organized and self-directed
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to work with people of all socioeconomic levels and cultures
- Must be a consumer advocate for quality health care and service
- Must maintain professional licensure
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be available for hours before 8:00 am, after 5:00 pm, and Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
- Experience in a community health center preferred
