Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions including individual, family, and group therapy. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with the treatment team, collateral contacts, and community agencies to manage service delivery. Identify and intervene with high-risk circumstances while complying with all legal and regulatory reporting and documentation requirements. Provide supervision and learning experiences for clinical students as assigned. This role requires a master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, or clinical psychology, along with one year of behavioral health experience. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a master's degree in social work, marriage family therapy, counseling related field
- Completion of a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from a regionally accepted accredited institution
- One year of experience in a behavioral health care setting
- Knowledge of psychotherapy theory and techniques
- Able to identify need for supervision/consultation, utilize such appropriately, and accept direction
- Able to read; write legibly
- Able to speak in English with professional quality
- Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position
- Able to troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
- Able to be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies
- Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
- Able to defuse aggravated situations with patients and families
- Able to lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate
- Able to accept direction
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone

Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in an acute psychiatric facility with age specific population
- Registration as an ACSW, MFT intern, LPCC intern, or in the process of accruing post-doctoral hours working toward licensure as a psychologist
- Able to speak in Spanish
