Job Summary
Clinical Technology Specialist responsible for setting up and operating advanced surgical technologies, performing preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and handling documentation. Role includes loading and transporting surgical technologies to healthcare facilities with regular driving and occasional overnight travel; enforcing laser safety and safe workplace practices; delivering exceptional customer service and building professional relationships with ForTec team members and healthcare partners. Requires credentialing and immunization compliance, basic computer/smartphone proficiency, and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred background includes prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience; for successful applicants, training will be provided. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and independent work capabilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations
- Must be able to meet credentialing requirements of assigned medical facilities including client-required immunizations
- Ability to push, pull, and manipulate medical equipment over 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, sit, and stand for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule with early mornings, evening cases, and occasional weekend coverage or overnight travel
