Job Summary
Perform direct patient care and activities of daily living under RN supervision, observing status changes and maintaining a clean environment. Transport patients and execute CORE skills for Clinical Technician II, including six months of experience or equivalent program completion. Maintain BLS certification and complete minimum six education hours related to the current role. Work as an active member of the health care team with good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Equivalent experience
- Six months of experience as a Clinical Technician I or equivalent clinical experience as defined in the CORE skills for Clinical Technician II, completion or enrollment in Clinical Technician II program or equivalent, or student nurses who have successfully completed the medical/surgical clinical experiences and didactic
- BLS certification
- Minimum of six education hours related to current role
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
