Job Summary
Ophthalmic Clinical Technician provides patient-facing care in a clinic, performing diagnostic tests (visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry), applying eye drops, assisting with minor surgeries/intraocular injections, and documenting findings in EMR with HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities include greeting patients, educating them about visits, collecting medical history, maintaining patient records, preparing patients for procedures, and supporting the ophthalmology team across Kent, Stow, and Akron locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
