Clinical Team Support Assistant provides administrative support to the clinical area, handling reception duties, patient registration, scheduling, and document routing. Responsibilities include updating patient demographics, determining eligibility, collecting and organizing health records, facilitating pre-authorization or insurance verification, responding to routine patient information requests, assisting with orientation and case management duties, maintaining auxiliary materials and forms, processing time sheets and payroll data, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and health-immunization policies. Requires formal training/associate degree with relevant experience or a high school diploma with more extensive experience; background checks and immunization verification are prerequisites. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to privacy, and ability to interact with internal/external stakeholders are essential.
