Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms prior to patient arrival, interview patients to obtain medical information and vital statistics, and record their medical history, height, and weight. Input orders directed by physicians for x-rays and physical therapy, then schedule appointments for return visits, post-ops, and study follow-ups. Assist with patient flow, provide direct patient care, and maintain clean, well-stocked treatment and bracing rooms while ensuring timely disposal of sharps and biohazard materials. Respond to phone calls and triage issues, resolving them the same day. This role supports OrthoVirginia's mission as Virginia's largest provider of musculoskeletal care across 35 locations.
