Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms prior to patient arrival, interview patients to obtain medical information and vital statistics, and record medical history, height, and weight. Input physician-directed orders for x-rays and physical therapy, schedule appointments for return visits and post-ops, and coordinate preoperative testing and equipment. Assist with patient flow, provide direct patient care, and maintain clean, stocked clinical areas while ensuring timely disposal of sharps and biohazard materials. Respond to phone calls and triage issues, resolving them same day. This role supports OrthoVirginia's mission as Virginia's largest provider of musculoskeletal care across 35 locations, delivering expert orthopedic and therapy services to patients of all ages.
