Clinical Team Member

Prepare exam rooms prior to patient arrival, interview patients to obtain medical information and vital statistics, and record their medical history, height, and weight. Provide patient education on cast care, traction care, and the use of orthopedic appliances while inputting physician-directed orders for x-rays and physical therapy. Schedule appointments for patient care including return visits, post-ops, and study follow-ups, and coordinate surgery scheduling with preoperative testing and equipment. Assist with patient flow, deliver direct patient care as directed, and maintain clean, well-stocked clinical areas with proper disposal of sharps and biohazard materials. Respond to phone calls and triage issues, resolving them same day. This role supports OrthoVirginia's mission as Virginia's largest provider of musculoskeletal care across 35 locations.
