Job Summary
Lead clinical oversight of assigned Substance Abuse staff, including on-site supervision, performance evaluation, and mentorship to enhance therapeutic skills. Manage a minimum 40% caseload and deliver direct clinical services for at least two days weekly. Coordinate with the Center Director on administrative duties, clinical audits, billing documentation, and compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and agency policies. Deliver in-service training and best practices education to staff. Requires a Master's degree, three to five years of clinical experience, and an active license as a Clinical Social Worker or Addictions Specialist. Starting salary ranges from $57k to $62k.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university
- Three to five years of clinical practice experience in substance abuse
- Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist
- Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on-site clinical supervision to all Substance Abuse staff
