Job Summary
Support the Center Director by providing on-site clinical supervision to all staff and managing a direct caseload of minimum two days per week. Mentor clinical personnel to enhance therapeutic skills while overseeing clinical performance metrics, audits, and documentation compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and agency policies. Deliver in-service training and best practices education to the team, and participate in hiring, selection, and performance evaluations for clinical staff. Maintain strict adherence to professional standards and regulations while making sound decisions in emergency situations. Requires a Master's degree, three to five years of substance abuse experience, and current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Addictions Specialist.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university
- Three to five years of clinical practice experience in substance abuse
- Prefer a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker and/or Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist
- Carries an active caseload and/or perform direct clinical services for minimum of 2 days per week
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
- Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Requires minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments
- Provide on-site clinical supervision to all clinical staff

- Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills
- Mentors the clinical staff to increase their clinical effectiveness, productivity and therapeutic skills
- In coordination with the Center Director, TL assists with the development, use, analysis, and feedback of clinical performance measurement indicators, processes, audits
- Ensure strict compliance with all professional standards, Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures
- Provides in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, provide best practices training to staff
- Participates in the selection, hiring and performance evaluation of clinical staff
