Job Summary
Oversees administrative and operational issues for the designated care delivery team and functions as a department team leader to support unit and hospital goals. Assists the Director in managing material, financial, and human resources while ensuring staffing meets patient care needs and operational guidelines. Provides clinical direction, coaches, and mentors unit personnel, participating in performance appraisals and fostering accountability for policy adherence. Assumes unit, clinical, and administrative responsibilities in the Director's absence under supervision. Utilizes evidence-based research findings in patient care delivery, communicates research to colleagues, and participates in ongoing research studies. Ensures completion of the unit's schedule in a timely and equitable manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- 3 years Registered nurse in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and ideas
- Ability to teach and direct others with positivity and encouragement
- Demonstrated proficiency in directing and guiding personnel
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to perform kneeling, bending, squatting, and CPR
