Job Summary
Support and maintain Clinical Application Systems across Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, including ensuring data accuracy, developing master files, and enabling timely reporting. Provide 2nd line support to the Digital Service Desk, diagnose issues, log tickets, coordinate with third-party suppliers for resolution, train staff, and participate in on-call digital rota. Role requires knowledge of hospital work practices, IT system management, and collaboration with multiple departments to implement changes and national policy updates. Based onsite at St Marys IT Dept in Newport; potential multi-site travel between organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in IT or business-related subject or equivalent relevant experience
- ITIL Foundation
- Knowledge of NHS data standards
- Experience with clinical systems (PAS, EPR, eCareLogic, etc.) and healthcare IT
