Job Summary
Design, configure, and maintain EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation systems to support operational, regulatory, and patient care requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical applications, acting as a liaison between Information Services and departments to identify and address system needs. Optimize clinical workflows, develop documentation tools, and lead testing cycles during upgrades while providing Tier 2/3 support and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement workflow enhancements and ensure system interdependencies function effectively. Participate in project leadership for new functionality and vendor changes, maintaining required certifications and adhering to organizational methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent technical training
- At least 3 years' experience with appropriate clinical HIS applications support
- Strong, demonstrable experience implementing and supporting HIS applications within a hospital / health system
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communications skills
- Strong customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation
- Experience with Epic applications
