CLINICAL SYSTEM ANALYST

Job Summary
Execute configuration, maintenance, and support of clinical systems, including the EHR and related applications. Implement system changes, updates, and enhancements in alignment with defined standards while troubleshooting and resolving clinical system issues assigned through service delivery processes. Analyze clinical workflows and system usage to identify improvement opportunities, support optimization of templates, and assist in standardizing workflows across multiple sites. Execute system testing for upgrades and enhancements, validate workflows prior to release, and provide user support and training for new and existing users. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, issues, and resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base resources. Assist with audit preparation and validation activities to support regulatory and organizational requirements. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to support system enhancements and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare IT, information systems, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in clinical systems, EHR support, or healthcare IT
- Experience working with clinical workflows in a healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of EHR systems and clinical workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot and support system configuration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and user support skills
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory and reporting requirements
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong customer and user support focus
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare IT, information systems, or a related field preferred
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar platforms preferred
