Job Summary
Clinical Support Technician responsible for supervising clients’ therapeutic and recreational activities, monitoring movement, reporting observations and incidents, conducting didactic sessions post-training, guiding clients to comply with center rules, maintaining client records, and contributing to treatment planning and team coordination within a correctional healthcare setting; requires adaptability, de-escalation skills, and strong communication to support individuals with substance use and mental health disorders in Century Correctional Institution.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- two (2) years of prior experience in the substance abuse field; or
- An Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in any unrelated area of study from an accredited academic institution and one (1) year of experience in the counseling or chemical addictions field; or
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any of the social sciences.
