Job Summary
Clinical Support Staff assists providers with patient visits, including rooming patients, documenting patient history, and recording vital signs; administers medications and procedures as directed; provides health education to patients; complies with OSHA regulations; maintains exam rooms and supplies; documents nursing care in the electronic health record; communicates with patients and staff; participates in daily huddles and team meetings; coordinates inventory and task distribution within the care team; and supports a collaborative, patient-centered care environment within a community health center setting in Warren, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program, or certification as a medical assistant
- LPN license in the State of Ohio or Certification in Medical Assisting
- Holds and maintains BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to read, write and speak English
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years of community health experience preferred
- Previous experience with electronic health record technology is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program, or certification as a medical assistant
- Holds and maintains an unrestricted LPN license in the State of Ohio or holds a certified medical assisting certification
- Holds and maintains BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to read, write and speak English
