Job Summary
Conduct Quality Assurance Audits of medical records, including daily visit notes and OASIS documents, to ensure accurate documentation, medical necessity, and compliance. Assist with order tracking, Face-to-Face gathering, and physician verification processes while maintaining strict confidentiality. Keep current on clinical compliance information, report billing issues to the supervisor, and educate field staff on deficiencies during review processes. Attend in-services, contribute to committees, and submit documentation within required timeframes. Requires an active nursing license, minimum one year of home health experience, and ability to work non-exempt hours at $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified licensed professional nurse
- Active Nursing License
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in home health (preferred)
- Knowledgeable on computer system to include back office and device versions
- Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills
- Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work and communicate well with multiple teams within the organization
- Ability to effect buy-in from multiple levels of authority
- Ability to effectively deal with change
- Ability to complete projects within specific timetables
- Excellent knowledge of processes or ability to learn and implement
- Ability to be well organized and prepared
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to deal with teammates in an acceptable manner
- Understands HIPAA guidelines
