Job Summary
Clinical Support Specialist provides safety-focused support in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs, co-leading groups, assisting the clinical team, and monitoring student behavior. Responsibilities include supervising students, enforcing group rules, co-leading behavioral activation and independent living skills groups, praising positive behavior, helping students process issues, building therapeutic staff/student relationships, offering coping strategies, and observing/charting student behavior while maintaining safety and awareness of emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, cognitive science, or related field from an accredited university
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Experience working in a behavioral or mental health setting on a team
- Experience with electronic medical/health records systems preferred
