Job Summary
Clinical Support Midwife providing direct clinical support and mentoring for students, graduates, and early-career midwives to develop high-quality clinical skills. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education and Educational team to implement and evaluate clinical learning activities across Mercy Health. Requires APHRA-registered midwife status; compliance with police check, Working with Children Check, and vaccination requirements; promotes patient-centered care and participates in a collaborative team environment. Location: Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg, Australia; 32 hours per fortnight fixed-term role through May 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Midwife with APHRA
- A current Police Record Check
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
