Job Summary
Provide basic direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse as part of the unit-based team. Perform duties in an inpatient rehab setting while standing the majority of the shift, frequently lifting up to 35 lbs, and engaging in sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. Work a scheduled day shift of 8 hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English reading and writing
- Certified Nurse Assistant - California Certification
- Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently
- Ability to stand the majority of the shift
- Ability to sit
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to climb
- Ability to squat
