Job Summary
Clinical Supply Manager responsible for managing packaging jobs in China TPMs in partnership with support functions (CDSM, global PDQA) to ensure requests are completed on time and compliant with GMP and AbbVie procedures. Drive continuous process optimization of local packaging by collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and shorten turnaround timelines. Manage and improve China site shipment with cross-functional teams to reduce product waste and ensure reliable delivery. Establish and maintain China site shipment requirements database, leveraging data insights to identify trends and opportunities. Support IP supply kickoff and alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure IP readiness for study start-up. Support Health Authority inspections and local SOPs/WIs creation in partnership with CDSM, Regulatory, QMTC and QA. Ensure adherence to local regulations, GCPs, ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs, and quality standards in conducting clinical trial supply. Build relationships with global/local teams, clinical sites, and depots to ensure reliable delivery and destruction of IP. Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in pharmaceutical R&D or related field
- 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D
- at least 5 years in clinical supply chain, CMC or clinical operation related roles
- Ability to lead complex projects and foster cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Knowledge of GMP, GCP, GTC in clinical supply operations in China
- Experience with contract pharmaceutical organizations in China
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proactive, independent work style with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to manage regulatory compliance and quality standards
