Job Summary
Process and track requisitions, decant incoming supply and implant deliveries, and monitor inventory levels for perioperative services. Maintain the CSC Perioperative Pyxis system by removing expired items, adjusting reorder points, and processing new item setups. Manage out-of-stock issues, backorders, and discontinued products through coordination with clinical management, purchasing, and warehouse teams. Lead the first line of supervision for all clinical supply chain activities, providing guidance and training to inventory associates. Conduct monthly expiration audits, compile reports for the director, and verify receipt of orders to ensure timely delivery to clinical areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 0-1 year of experience
- Strong skills related to the management of inventory control
- minimum of 0-1 year of progressive work experiences in supply distribution
- extensive customer service skills
- intricate computer literacy
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience
- 1-2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience
- Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies
- Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management general operations and/or specialty healthcare products
- Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP)
