Job Summary
Supervise substance use disorder outpatient providers and oversee the clinical/supervisory operations at the site. Responsibilities include providing individual and group supervision to mental health, Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency outpatient staff, reviewing clinical documentation for compliance with BHO/DBHR/TJC requirements, coordinating with the Behavioral Health Program Manager on administrative and clinical management procedures, and aiding in the development of a co-occurring program. The role also entails ensuring staff workload balance, maintaining client retention and treatment quality, ensuring HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, conducting regular chart reviews, QA and data-entry oversight, and collaborating on program-wide improvements and community referrals. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), a SUD Professional certification, Basic Life Support and First Aid certifications, TB testing, annual vaccine requirements, and a demonstrated track record in supervision and program development within a behavioral health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, education, or social sciences, or a minimum of five years working as alcoholism and chemical dependency counselor with high risk youth/adult
- Minimum two years supervisory experience after becoming a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional
- Working knowledge of WACs, RCWs and ASAM criteria
- Certification from the Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional
