Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor (RPN/RN) responsible for supervising PSWs and HSWs in home/community health care, ensuring compliant practices, leading team through regular huddles and one-on-ones, guiding clinical documentation, engaging patients and families, and supporting staff development within ParaMed's home health care framework.
Required Qualifications
- Current RPN or RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Entitled to practice without restrictions
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse
- Comprehensive patient health assessment skills
- Understanding of principles of community nursing practice
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
- Commitment to professional development in clinical practice relevant to home health care
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
- C.N.A. Certification as a Community Health Nurse (CCHN(C)) is considered an asset
