Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Function as a staff nurse as needed and assume delegated managerial duties. Maintain consistent adherence to Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards. Requires current Missouri RN license, 3-5 years hospital experience, and BLS certification. Full-time day shift rotation (Friday through Sunday) at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
