Job Summary
Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Perform staff nurse duties as needed and execute delegated managerial functions consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Requires current Missouri RN licensure, 3-5 years of hospital experience, and BLS certification. Full-time day shift rotation covering Friday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
