Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Perform duties as a staff nurse when needed and assume delegated managerial responsibilities. Maintain a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week during day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hold a current Missouri RN license with 3-5 years of hospital experience, including preferred change management background. Assist in implementing Mercy's mission and service standards across the department.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
