CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (RN) NICU (NIGHTS)

Job Summary
Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, care partners and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff to obtain safe, optimal health care outcomes. Leads and supports the healthcare team in alignment with the facility vision and goals, providing professional leadership and guidance to supervisees. Oversees and mentors staff, anchoring care in Patient Centered Care and delivering Service Excellence at all times. Demonstrates proficiency in cardiovascular assessment with 12-lead EKG interpretation; will preferably have experience in stress testing and related specialty competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN required
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire)
- 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care nursing; 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred
