Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor (RN) NICU nights oversees and guides NICU nursing staff, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to deliver direct and indirect patient care. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, leadership, and adherence to the facility’s mission, with responsibilities including directing nursing staff, ensuring safe, optimal outcomes, and supporting professional development. Requires BSN and cardiovascular proficiency, including 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm knowledge; ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or specialty training current upon hire. Night shift responsibility and supervisory duties are central to this role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN required
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- BLS
- ACLS/PALS/NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire)
- One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing
- Supervisory experience preferred
