Clinical Supervisor Postpartum

Provide direct communication regarding unanticipated patient care events and risk management activities. Utilize nursing personnel effectively for scheduling, staffing, and assignments while providing direction, supervision, and evaluation of staff. Assess supplies and equipment availability to ensure proper use and functionality. Collaborate with department managers to coordinate services, enhance patient flow, and assess patient care delivery and documentation quality. Direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols. Interview patients and families on admission and during rounds to enhance positive experiences and provide comprehensive orientation. May perform direct patient care within scope of practice, temporarily relieved of Charge Nurse duties during such times. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and NRP certification. Full-time days shift at Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX.
