Job Summary
Assure clinical program compliance with CARF and all state, federal, and governing body policies while assisting in surveys and inspections. Supervise and facilitate clinical teammates, providing education, training, and guidance on treatment planning and counseling services. Evaluate patient needs and clinical program areas to develop appropriate training and adjust development goals. Insure timely documentation of treatment services through regular record reviews and digital signing. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and monitor all clinical program areas to evaluate performance and address concerns. Directly communicate with leadership to address immediate concerns and approve administrative decisions affecting the clinical team. Maintain a positive working relationship with medical professionals, referral sources, and community organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Certification recognized by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (i.e., CADC, LAADC, SUDCC, or CATC) or a license in line with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) qualifications
- Current valid driver's license in good standing in the state of employment and insurable by the designated carrier if required to drive for company purposes
- Ability to travel up to 15% to attend meetings and conferences
- Compliance with the requirements for continuing education hours and/or units (CEH or CEU) as determined by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and/or other regulatory agencies
- Knowledge, skills and abilities as it relates to the evaluation of patients, treatment planning, and counseling services
- Knowledge, skills and abilities as it relates to the use, abuse and treatment of illicit drugs and addiction
- Organization and time management
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Professional demeanor and customer service practices
- Competence with Microsoft computer programs
