Job Summary
Supervise nursing operations for the Oncology/BMT Infusion Center unit and assume 24-hour nursing responsibility when the Manager or Director is absent. Manage care for the unit's specific patient population while ensuring compliance with state licensing and certification standards. Rotate weekend shifts on a rotating basis. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- Other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
