Job Summary
Supervise nursing operations for a specific patient population as a member of the unit-based leadership team. Assume 24-hour nursing responsibility when the Manager or Director is absent. Maintain current Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Shifts run 7 PM to 7 AM. Requires a nursing degree with three years of clinical experience or a bachelor's degree with two years of experience, including one year in a specialty area. Additional life support credentials such as ACLS or PALS are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
- 7PM-7AM
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
