Job Summary
Oversee, lead, and develop staff while managing daily operations and monitoring budgeted census projections within the youth crisis and stabilization center. Develop and implement operational policies, foster a trauma-informed care environment, and provide hands-on direction to ensure clinical culture success. Collaborate with Quality to assess performance data, identify trends, and maintain accountability for service outcomes and compliance. Participate in client evaluations, oversee treatment plan development, and conduct regular staff performance evaluations and formal reviews. Actively engage in the interviewing and hiring process, mentor new staff, and ensure adherence to licensing requirements and safety codes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Services, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or clinically related field
- Fully licensed in Minnesota: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT or on track for licensure
- Experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements
- Must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challenges
- Successfully participate and complete a three-part Therapeutic Crisis Intervention exam and training
- Must successfully pass a DHS criminal background check
- Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) years' experience in adolescent, adult, and family-based behavioral counseling and/or residential experience
- Two (2) years supervisory experience
