Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing clinical and administrative services for patients and their families. Key responsibilities include providing new hire orientation for counselors, conducting quarterly in-house training, supervising counselors to ensure timely completion of work, and providing clinical supervision through assessment of professional competencies. The role involves preparing annual training plans, completing employee reviews, managing patient assignments, and addressing Counselor change requests. A Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and a minimum of three years of Clinical Supervision experience in a substance abuse environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with major emphasis in social work, addiction studies, psychology, counseling or human services and appropriate State Certification
- Minimum of three years of Clinical Supervision experience, preferable in a substance abuse environment; one year of which must be directly related to substance abuse treatment
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with appropriate State Certification preferred
- LCSW, LCDP, or LPCMH preferred
