Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor leads and coaches staff within the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program, providing hands-on supervisory direction, clinical oversight, and consultation during crisis calls. Collaborates with the 988 call center, police and county agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure crisis stabilization, safety planning, risk assessment, and follow-up. Requires advanced clinical knowledge, licensure in CA, and a CPA-level or higher credentialing path (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC/PhD or PsyD), with 2+ years of post-licensure supervisory experience. Role includes on-call responsibilities, field presence, driving to multiple sites, and representing the program to external partners while maintaining adherence to agency policies and treatment philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited or state approved program that meets criteria for licensing as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or clinical psychologist
- Must be licensed and eligible to provide clinical supervision to Board of Behavioral Science standards in California (i.e., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph. D or PsyD)
- 2 years post licensure with related supervisory experience
- Supervisory experience in individual, group, and family psychotherapy with the severely emotionally disturbed
- LPS certified
- Valid California driver’s license
- Acceptable driving record as determined Agency policy
- Proof of auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements
- Frequent driving to various work site locations
- Frequent/continuous sitting with occasional, intermittent standing/walking
