Job Summary
Supervise nursing operations for a specific patient population and assume 24-hour nursing responsibility when the Manager or Director is absent. Manage the unit-based leadership team and ensure compliance with state licensure and BLS requirements. Work a rotating 7pm-7am schedule with weekend rotations on a rotating basis. This role supports Northside Hospital's mission to expand quality care across Atlanta and beyond.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
- 7pm-7am
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
