Job Summary
Provide supervision of nursing operations for the inpatient oncology unit as a member of the unit-based leadership team. Assume 24-hour nursing responsibility when the Manager or Director is absent. Work with a unit-specific patient population while maintaining current Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse. Hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and possess visual color acuity appropriate for the unit. Rotate weekends on a rotating basis during the 1900-0730 shift. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
- Work Hours: 1900-0730
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
