Job Summary
Assumes shift responsibility for planning and providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in a pediatric emergency context; coordinates a multidisciplinary team, directs and facilitates nursing staff, and provides professional leadership to the healthcare team. Emphasizes Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence while supporting facility mission and goals. Requires BSN, RN licensure in Nevada, and cardiovascular proficiency including 12-lead EKG interpretation and management of arrhythmias; ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent required upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN Required
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training
